THE MARKETING FIRM:

plot synopsis:

Blank Null, an eccentric and incompetent man, recently inherited his Fathers’ failing marketing firm. In a last-ditch attempt to keep the firm alive, he hires Mat Dithers, a young woman freshly spat-out by New York City.

Merry Dunwitty, Blank’s reliable right-hand-woman and Mat’s lifelong best friend, is at the core of the company’s reorientation attempt and secures Mat’s hiring.

Merry and Mat quickly take to meeting with clients, dealing with their chaotic family lives, and helping Blank avoid the wrath of a rival marketing firm: The Holy Hustlers.

Enter Cornelius, a human car crash and Blank’s chaotic friend from college. He joins the team while trying to outrun his past as it very obviously catches up to him. Blank is blinded to Cornelius’s incompetence, leaning heavily on pictures of the good old days together as he desperately searches for connection… afraid to trust anyone from his new position of power.

The firm nearly crumbles after a mysterious betrayal, but is kept afloat when the team decides to work together to uncover the truth. They face hunger, breakups, kidnappings, and worst of all: the service industry.
